The Bride and Groom
Brianne and Chris’s Blackberry Ridge Golf Club wedding was such an incredible day. The day was full of emotion, smiles, a fresh dusting of snow, and a little friendly competition. You see it just so happens that Brianne and Chris attended Auburn University and the University of Minnesota respectively. Two teams that, as chance would have it, were set to play in a bowl game this year just a few days following their wedding. Not only did these two work that theme into their day, but chose to drop everything just days after their big day to fly out for the game!

A winter wedding is always such a uniquely beautiful day, and this one was no exception. The chilly, yet beautiful grounds of Blackberry Ridge were the perfect setting for some quick photos. The cozy interior was the perfect place to watch these two get married.

We are so excited for Brianne and Chris and were thrilled to get to tell their story! Here’s their proposal story, in her own words 🙂
“Chris’s best friend grew up a Buffalo Bills fan and Chris is a Chicago Bears fan, so we made a trip to Buffalo together for the Bills/Bears game. The day before the game we drove up to Niagara falls. Early on, I had thought that he might be proposing on the trip, but that morning he didn’t act weird or nervous at all so I thought, well I guess he’s not planning on proposing because surely I’d be able to tell if something was up!
Chris had the ring in his pocket as he drove us through border security to the Canadian side of Niagara falls. He got especially nervous when the guard asked why we were visiting, and if he was transporting any valuables! Once we got to the falls, Chris wanted to ask quickly, so he almost immediately gave the code phrase for his friends to start taking photos, and he asked me to be his travel partner for life!”
