Getting to capture this International Market Square wedding was so amazing! We got to travel all over Saint Paul and Minneapolis capturing the love that Natalie and Nils share, and we couldn’t have asked for anything better!
The Bride and Groom
Natalie and Nils were so fun to talk to when they were planning their wedding. You could tell how excited they both were, so we knew that it was going to be an amazing wedding! They were both so fun and thoughtful, as were their friends and family. Perhaps most importantly though, it was so obvious how much these two love each other!
The Venue – International Market Square, Minneapolis MN
This was our first time shooting an International Market Square wedding and we certainly hope it’s not our last! It is such a unique venue that was the perfect place for a wedding reception. The room was beautifully decorated and the high ceiling and multiple stories of balconies surrounding the main area allowed for some awesome shots!
The Wedding – International Market Square Wedding
While the reception was at the International Market Square, the day started over in Saint Paul. The girls started at Gem Salon, but instead of starting with hair and makeup, they began the morning with a yoga session led by Natalie’s sister. We absolutely loved capturing this as it was a unique yet perfect start to a wedding day! After the yoga session was complete, Natalie and her bridesmaids began hair and makeup while Nils and his guys were grabbing breakfast just down the street.
From there, everyone made their way to the church, where Nils got his tux on while Natalie slipped into her dress, and then they both opened letters from one another. We love when couples write letters as it is usually such a special moment, and this time was no different. They both read their letters and opened gifts and then made their way outside for their first look. The rain didn’t stop these two from having an amazing first look, and they were both so happy to finally see each other on their big day!
Friends and family began to arrive at the church and a short time later Natalie walked down the aisle, and everyone watched as these two became husband and wife! After brief stop at a beautiful nearby park, everyone was invited to the reception at the International Market Square. The night consisted of some absolutely amazing toasts, a great meal, and tons of laughter as everyone celebrated the newlyweds!
We loved getting to be a part of this International Market Square wedding and were so happy that Natalie and Nils chose us to capture their amazing day!
